Sassy Lil Belle (1997)

Sassy Lil Belle is a strikingly attractive, 15.2hh, unraced thoroughbred mare foaled in 1997 and rescued from a high risk situation in 2012 in partnership with the Wild For Life Foundation. Sassy has had extensive ground work while in our care, however she did not adapt well to professional training towards a second career under saddle, and is available for adoption as a lawn ornament and pasture puff only. She gets along well with the small herd of retired horses that she is turned out with daily, however she does have a tendency to become herd-bound and also should probably be fed while segregated from other horses since she remains rather defensive of her feed.  Sassy enjoys human attention and might thrive as a pet doted on by a single person with no other horses, provided someone had lots of time to spend with her.  Sassy is at our facility in the Antelope Valley.
