We are fortunate and grateful to have several talented equine artists among our friends, Dagmar Galleithner, Christine Picavet,
Gina Romero, Fred Stone, and Bob Zirillo each of whom is supporting our efforts to rescue and re-home high risk Thoroughbreds

Dagmar Galleithner

We are extremely grateful to equine artist, and SCTR friend and donor, Dagmar Galleithner who has offered to donate 100%
of the proceeds from the sale of her beautiful, framed pastel painting "End of the Rivalry" as well as proceeds from the sale of limited edition artist's proof series of this pastel. Please visit

Christine Picavet

World renowned equine artist Christine Picavet has supported SCTR from its infancy, by permitting us to use as a logo an image
of her painting of a beautiful daughter of Vaguely Noble, also the sire of the ill-fated Exceller. Christine has donated her oil
painting of Zenyatta at Oaklawn Park to SCTR, and also 100 limited edition, signed and numbered prints of the painting. You

Here is an image of the Zenyatta oil painting which is available, and for which we still have some limited edition prints on canvas
available for $225 plus shipping and handling of $10. 

ristine will also donate 10% of the proceeds of ANY commissioned painting up to $2,000 per commission, and 10% of the
proceeds of existing artwork, when you mention Southern California Thoroughbred Rescue at the time of your purchase of her
work. The donations can be made directly to SCTR by the client.

Fred Stone

We are extremely grateful to equine artist Fred Stone, for his donation of a limited edition (one of only 120) artist's proof of the
print "A Legacy of Hope Barbaro". This artist's proof has been sold to benefit our horses.  P

Charlotte Sveen

Charlotte has generously donated several prints and an iPad case of her Zenyatta image to SCTR 
fundraisers and we are extremely grateful for her support.

Gina Romero

We are extremely grateful to equine artist Gina Romero, for donating exclusively to SCTR her (and the "original") Zenyatta
posters seen on TV and other racing media - "Girl Power", "Red, White and Blue", and "Super Girl".  Posters sized 16"x20" and
20"x30" are available
